Another Phoenix Recipient

On Monday 19th October 2009, Sempai Nikki Hebenstreit was presented with a Phoenix Pendant, the ninth person to be honoured in this way.

Renshi Anthony spoke at the end of class about Nikki, her fierce determination to succedd in her training, her assistance with the kids classes, not just at Magill but at East Marden as well, and her outstanding efforts to promote Bushido Martial Arts outside of the Dojo.

This was once again proven recently with her fantastic effort to organise and manage our City-Bay team this year. Nikki handled all of the bookings, catering, production of T-Shirts and collection and payment of monies.

All of this was done on top of studying at uni and working part time.

Nikki is an example of what can be achieved when you put in plenty of hard work.
